不知為何的想來復古一下
不算coldplay的狂粉, 但這首歌仍然算是開啟我聽西洋樂團的入門(想當年的一知半解啊><)，並且至今仍還是它們歌曲中旋律我屬一屬二熱愛的 在悠揚中帶著淡淡的哀傷
他們在華語世界也算有名氣 我想這首關於路易十六的歌的歷史背景應該也已經有許多翻譯者做過解釋 就不用多說了
想補充的大概是在這位君王的獨白中多次提到耶路撒冷的榮景可能有人會不解到底和法國有什麼關聯，
在我看來大概是因為在任何一個強盛的歐洲國家君主心目中 人人都想比擬羅馬帝國的壯盛，成為他們的當代繼承者
並發揮中世紀國王們多次東征為"發揚羅馬正教(基督教)"的精神 在歷史上建立自己的輝煌篇章
我想在coldplay想像的臨刑前的路易十六心中 仍然掛念著這些虛無縹緲卻曾經是型塑他一生的身份象徵與被賦予無法逃脫的沉重使命吧(這是位比較想做自己卻不得不繼承衣缽的仁兄)
